M3 (U20): Explain how the created media components comply with the codes and conventions of the media sectors. Codes: Codes are systems of signs, which create meaning. These may include both technical codes or symbolic codes. An example of a code that creates meaning is the retro clothes used in our advert to portray another era.  Technical Codes - This is all the ways in which equipment is used to tell the story in a media text (e.g. - camera work or editing). Symbolic Codes - This shows what is beneath the surface of what we see. For example, a characters action can show you how they are feeling and their emotions. Conventions are the widely recognised way of doing something which is to do with content, form and style. Task 7: Creating the adverts (U20: P4, M2)

P4: Create production materials to be used in the original media product. From the client brief that we got given we been asked to create 3 different types of advertisements. Billboard: Magazine: Poster: Feedback: M2:  Justify the choice of planned components by targeted media sector: When we were planning the marketing campaign we had certain requirements that we had to fulfil from the client brief that we were given by the client when completing the advertising campaign. For example when choosing the colour scheme of the product and as well as the colour scheme for the marketing and we decided to make the colour scheme to be red with hits of black and white going throughout the adverts. We chose the colours because it would appeal to both genders because black and white are neutral colours and don't favour a specific gender. This will help to attract more customers to the business because the customers will feel as if the business doesn't want to target only one gender. Also ...

P2 (U20): Create a plan for a cross media advertising campaign in response to a client brief. Purpose/Concept: P2: The sole purpose for our advert is to promote Phizzwizard which is a new soft fizzy drink and for it to be purchased by the target audience means that we have to make the advert eye catchy for the target audience. The entire concept of our advertising campaign for the phizzwizard drink is to portrait the drink to the target audience which is 14-21 year olds and we need to show them that this new drink is exiting and what they didn't know they needed in their life and is different to every other soft drink that they have ever had. M2 (U24):  Explain how personal behaviours and attributes affect career development opportunities within the media industry. D2 (U24):  Explain the importance of etiquette when working on a media production.
